Earth Wiki

The Earth Wiki

How to play

  • How to Join

    • Enter the ip mc.emeraldearth.xyz (On bedrock the port is: 19132)

    • When inside the lobby, do /earth or right click the nether star, then select Earth.

    • When you load into Earth, you will be located in the Spawn world. To get out, do /rtp or /warp

    • Make sure to read the rules on /rules

  • Towns and Nations

    • When in the place you want to protect or claim, do /t new <townname>

    • After executing the command, do /confirm

    • After the town has been created, the chunk you are standing in will be protected. You can check the chunk borders with F3 + G (this does not work on Bedrock)

    • To claim more chunks, deposit money into the town bank using /t deposit <money amount>. You can also use the town menu (/twm) to do a large amount of commands from one input.

    • You may find yourself running out of chunks to be able to claim. When this happens, you can buy more chunks by doing /t buy bonus <amount>

    • To invite people to your town, do /t invite <username>. To accept, do /t accept

    • You may soon want to create your own Nation after obtaining a good amount of people in your town or towns wanting to join forces with you. To create a nation, do /n new <nation name> with the proper amount of funds in the town bank.

    • To get more information on how the war system works, do the /war command in game to open a menu with options ranging from a war wiki to server war changes and economy aspects.

  • How to Get Money

    • Money in the Earth server is easy to come by, but can be tricky to get a handful.

    • First, you can open /shop and click on blocks or items to sell for some money to use. (On Bedrock use the command /sellhand)

    • There are also Jobs within the server, and you can join a job using /jobs browse. You can join more jobs after ranking up to a higher rank. (More on this later)

  • Ranks

    • Ranks are something of use to purchase on the server, and the most essential ranks only cost in-game money.

    • To open the ranks menu, do /ranks

    • To rank up, click the rank within progression, so if you're a new player, click Noble when you have the correct amount of money to rank up to that rank. This will give you all of the listed perks and abilities.

    • It's that simple, until you get to Deity rank, because then you unlock the ability to rank up with Prestiges. Prestiges act like ranks beyond Deity which give an increased amount of perks and rewards upon unlocking. Unlike some definitions of Prestiges, this does NOT reset anything upon unlocking. However, this does cost an increased amount of money per rank.

  • Dimensions

    • On Earth, you can unlock two dimensions through a string of quests. The End dimension and a custom Deep Dark dimension can both be unlocked by going to their respective NPCs in spawn, or by doing /quests

    • The Traveler NPC can be found in the big tree close to the nation leaderboards. This NPC can teleport you into the End.

    • The Miner NPC can be found by walking straight after using the /spawn command and finding the tall building with pickaxes on the front. This NPC can teleport you to the Deep Dark dimension.

    • The End is the normal end, with elytras, the dragon, and everything.

    • The Deep Dark dimension is a custom generated world that has super strong mobs, darkness that can kill you (bring torches), and has custom items that can be crafted. Soon, custom Deep Dark Cities will be placed around the map with even more lore and custom items.

  • Custom Items

    • Currently, there is only two particular sets of custom items, those being Dimension Master Keys (used in unlocking the End and Deep Dark), and the Amethyst sets (crafted using deep dark materials)

    • Master Keys can be crafted by obtaining separate keys after completing a particular quest associated with a dimension.

    • Amethyst Armor can be crafted from many materials held within the Deep Dark dimension.

    • To view all recipes, do /crafts

  • The Resource World

    • Many things not available in the Earth world such as villagers, and many other structures can be found within the resource world. The resource world is more or less a regular world without claiming or protection. with the intent on only gathering resources.

    • To get to the resource world, do /warp resource

    • Villages could be transported to the Earth world by using nether portals built in the resource world that link to the Earth world.

    • Griefing is enabled and land claiming is disabled.

  • Brewery

    • On Earth, there is a Brewery plugin that allows you to create your own drinks, such as vodka, coffee, wine, and more. This is not meant to instill habits or ideas of drinking or consumption of alcohol in real life.

    • To create some drinks, follow these steps.

    • Fermenting: Place Cauldron over a Fire or other heat source. Fill it with water. Add Ingredients with a rightclick. Wait a few minutes while they ferment. Fill in glass bottles.

    • Distilling: Some Recipes don't need distilling. Put the bottle with ferment into the brewing stand. Put glowstone dust as filter on top into the brewing stand (The filter will not be consumed)

    • Aging: A barrel is needed for aging of certain drinks. Starting in 1.14 the Minecraft-Barrel can be used for aging of a few brews. Simply craft and place the barrel and put the brews inside. You can also build bigger barrels. They can be built in two ways:

        • Small barrel | 9 Slots: Use 8 wooden stairs to build a barrel shape. Place a Sign on the lower right side and write "Barrel" in the upper Line. Image here.

        • Big barrel | 27 Slots: Use 5 Fences, 16 Wooden stairs, and 18 wood planks to build a barrel shape. Attach a Spigot (Fence) and a Sign that has "Barrel" written on it. Image here.

        • Each barrel can be opened by right clicking.

    • Drinking: The Amount of Alcohol inside the Brew will be applied to the player when drinking. Depending on the quality of it, that may have different effects.

        • The Player may not be able to walk normally anymore, he will weave, making it almost impossible to walk straight

        • Effects like Blindness, Confusion, Poison etc. occur

        • The Chat will be altered depending on drunkeness, many things players write may be incomprehensible, sometimes it seems senseless

        • If the Alcohol particularly strong, it may have poisonous effects

        • After drinking a lot, there is a chance of vomiting

        • When logging off, the player may have difficulties reaching his character, thus some logins shortly after may be denied

        • After Overdrinking the player may faint (Disconnecting)

    • After drinking it takes a while until the alcohol is completely gone. During that time the alcohol level is steadily decreasing. When logging off extremely drunk, it may happen that, if the player logs back in after a while, he may find himself at an completely unknown place in the middle of nowhere having no idea how he got there. But if he logs back in after some hours or next morning, he will find himself at /home, again without any memories. Also if the Alcohol was not of best quality, the player may face some bad type of hangover (slowness and hunger).

Events

  • How to Attend an Event

    • Attending events are one of the most enjoyable aspects of the server, and you can win lots of prizes.

    • Wait for an event to be announced via the server Discord, and be sure to stay up to date.

    • Depending on the location, do an assortment of commands.

    • For Drop Parties, go to /warp events

    • For ChestQuest, go to /warp chestquest

    • For Spleef, go to /warp spleef

    • For Survival Games, go to /warp sg

    • For Trivia, go to /warp events

  • How to Win Events

    • For events like Survival Games and Spleef, here are ways to win.

    • For Spleef, simply break the block underneath an opponent or knock them into the space below. You must be the last person alive to win, unless circumstances are different. Note that you cannot camp on the edges.

    • For Survival Games, you must kill everyone and be the last person alive. Rush to the center of the map to get loot quickly before the pvp immunity wears off, or run into the distance and search for chests.

    • For ChestQuest, most of the time it's quite simple. Just answer the quest the fastest, and you get to pick a reward chest. Usually the maximum amount of correct answers a participant can make is 2, but that sometimes changes depending on attendance. You cannot use Google or cheat.

    • For Trivia, simply answer the question the fastest and you get the specified reward. You cannot use google or cheat. Usually the maximum amount you can correctly answer is three times.

How to become staff

  • How to Become Staff

    • Becoming a Emerald Universe staff member is one of the best things you can do to increase your respect from the owners and the players, as well as the server.

    • Firstly, be mature, don't start arguments and be active among the community. Breaking rules will most likely result in you not becoming staff, and if you already are, you could be demoted.

    • After around two to three weeks after your first join date and a few days of playtime, apply using this link. Answer the questions respectfully and the fullest you can, with length.

    • Do NOT ask about your application, as the Owner will review them in time. Arguing over a denial of your application will most likely mean that you will never become staff. Keep in mind, a denial doesn't mean that the Owner or staff team does not like you, it's that they do not see you fit at that time, or there are too many.

Politics

  • How to do Politics

    • Politics on the server is somewhat easy to understand if you know what you're doing.

    • If you'd like to gain prominence and respect amongst the community, simply help out, do good acts and support people.

    • If you'd like to become powerful, just get a bunch of wealth and don't do anything stupid or immoral with it, and people could respect you for it.

    • However, let's be honest, politics in a Minecraft server is nowhere near clear cut, and always changes. Be you!
